Our Initiative

Greenlight Initiative was founded in 2006. Greenlight Initiative was formed with an aggressive goal to replace all major lighting applications with a practical cost saving solution- Solid State Lighting. We realized that although there were a host of products already market available for common lighting applications, we had a difficult time finding an LED flashlight that performed properly.

During that time we were forced to make a tough business decision. Do we present the available product to our clients, or do we wait? Well, we waited, but not idly. We began to purchase and test different SSL (solid sate lighting) or “LED” general lighting products that were being advertised as market ready. Through his process we earned our LED-ucation the hard way, and we are extremely happy that our clients did not have to.

We now represent some of the top manufacturers in the solid state lighting industry. We provide solutions to the municipal, commercial, real estate, ESCO, distribution, owner direct procurement, & design communities. If there is an application that GLI does not have a product product for, we will tell you were to get it, or it does not exist in the market.

Greenlight Initiative will always guide you to the right product for your application whether we represent it or not. We are advocates first, providers second, and that is the way we will remain.
